The spirit of unity forged by the early settlers has paved way for many epitomes of communal progress and development in all the length and breath of the town, hence the early construction of so many roads and bridges connecting the neighboring towns and villages together and the building of the modern Obas palace, first of its kind in the middle of seventies (1970’s). This attitude has helped to a large extent to improve the socio-economic activities of the town. Erin-Osun, one of the two (2) major towns in Irepodun Local Government Area of State of Osun, has so much honour.
